About In Vino Veritours

  Graduated & B.S.C. in International Trade, Lionel MAYOT founded his own company in 1991 promoting local wines, as far as he began with Loire wineries all along the 90's years, and especially for exports.

  He settled then with his family in the Bordeaux region in 1997, and starting in the begining of 1999, he joined a training centre in Bordeaux where a created a specific "Exporting Wine Program" for young professionals assistants & category managers working at wine merchants and vineyards ; he built courses and lessons for Wine tastings, Oenology, Economics in Wine, Trends and Marketing products sales techniques, Geography and History of Wine, based on his personal experience and his deep knowledge of french small industry (family properties mainly).

  Now involved into the promotion of the Côtes de Bourg wines region where he lives, Lionel MAYOT is working as an independent guide welcoming foreign and french visitors interested in adding high value to their stay in the region by having nice and training time at Côtes de Bourg vineyards and surroundings.
